Need less rear speakers? Simply switch the amp to 3-channel mode and enjoy 250 watts RMS to a pair of high-performance components while still powering your sub with up to 500 watts.

Here's how it works: start by downloading the setup tones from Rockford Fosgate, then play the tone and adjust the receiver volume until the red clip light on the amp turns off. Next, increase the amp gain until the blue light appears. It's that easy - your amplifier will be perfectly matched to your receiver's output. With this setup, your power amp will provide maximum clean power when your receiver is at its peak volume, while also reducing background noise for a clearer listening experience at lower volumes.

The amp's built-in computer continuously monitors output current, safeguarding against potential damage caused by fluctuating speaker impedances or a short circuit. Additionally, the optional PLC2 remote level control acts as a clip indicator and allows for convenient monitoring of music distortion from the front seat.
