By utilizing a new method to attach the oversized rubber surround to the cone, Rockford Fosgate has increased the available cone area by up to 25%, allowing this sub to push even more air for a truly massive bass experience.

This subwoofer boasts an elongated pole piece and an increased backplate, providing ample space for deep excursion and preventing any risk of "bottoming out." Advanced venting ensures that the voice coils, made of copper-clad aluminum, stay cool even under intense use, resulting in consistent bass performance over time. The sub also features dual 2-ohm voice coils, allowing for 1-ohm impedance with a mono subwoofer amplifier, or 4-ohm impedance when using multiple subs.
